My joy also involves working with my hands, crafting, and I have been a professional craftswoman my entire adult life. I ran a crafted giftware business in my early twenties, then training in jewellery manufacture and becoming a master engraver. I love sacred crafting, using the medicine gifts of the earth to make tools that can work with us on our spiritual path. I make flower essences, smoke cleansing bundles and teas with local plants, Ogham stave sets with wood from trees, feather fans with found feathers or wings from birds in road traffic accidents. I enjoy using essential oils, creating bath salts, bath bombs, and aura sprays. I talk to the plants, the trees and the animals, listening to the medicine they have to offer us.

In particular, I have found deep respect and relationship with Deer, a spirit animal who has stepped forward to guide me. I found deep initiation learning how to tan hides and prepare rawhide, setting up my own little tannery space at home. I love to birth drums and rattles, tools which serve as lifelong companions on our spiritual journey. It is my honour to help others birth their own sacred tools, or to make them to commission for someone.

I am also a mother, and this too has guided my joy. I have twin boys, a baby girl, and three little ones in the spirit realm. They have made me become the person that I want to be, motivating much of my healing and personal development. My path through motherhood has not been easy - I experienced infertility, challenging pregnancies, recurrent miscarriages, premature labour, birth trauma, postnatal depression, and struggles with matrescence. Working through these challenges helped me become the mother I wanted to be. It has also furnished me with further medicine gifts that I can share, and so I set up a venture specifically supporting mothers to and through motherhood. I created specialist healings, resources, and began birthing beautiful red drums to celebrate their rites of passage.
